‘LIGHT’ is a series of a table lamp and a floor lamp. It is designed by a Japanese design studio YOY.

When switched on, a shade of light will appear on the wall as a projection of a lamp shade silhouette. When switched off, the simple unit is an unassuming, freestanding beam.

There is a LED inside the head of the pole which imitates a light socket.

These creative and environmentally-friendly lamps were also exhibited at Salone Satellite during Milan Design Week 2014.
